Christmas Countdown

Clovis, we don't eat the tree!
I will never be ready for Christmas, ever. It's just not in my DNA. I am last minute, stressed out, cards out just days before, wrapping presents on Christmas Eve. Every year I think how great it would be to start and finish early so I could relax and enjoy the season, but I'm pretty sure that's never going to happen.

I can hardly wait until Christmas Eve to sit down with my family, unwind, drink champagne, eat seafood and watch "It's a Wonderful Life".

  1. Oh, you'll get there.
And what a great Christmas Eve you have planned!

  2. Oh good, I'm not the only one who gets down to the wire. There's always something last-minute going on here when it comes to Christmas; my son's been nagging for days as to when the tree is going to go up (I tell him to nag his dad on that one--hubby brings the tree home, I decorate it).

  4. Matilda always likes to get way back under the tree and not come out. The bond seem to really like having a tree in the house.

I'm in last minute mode, too.

  7. The wire gets ever closer and I'm not making much progress.

I just read my previous comment, typed on my iPhone--silly iPhone replaced "buns" with "bond"

  8. I am in the same boat. In fact I can't even get out of work early enough to BUY wrapping paper these days, or to pick up the packages that ocntain the gifts I ordered for everyone from the packagre room. I'll figure it out.

Your Christmas Eve sounds so nice :)
