I know you must have held my hand when I was new born, when I took my first steps, or to keep me safe when we crossed a street. Remember holding my hand when you bounced me on your foot singing "Pony Boy" or did flips after dinner in the living room?
I am so glad I had the chance to hold your hand as you were leaving.
Love you,
Sue

*hugs* Our loved ones are never gone as long as we can still remember them.

Such a caring community - thanks all for your comments.
ReplyDeleteYou made me happy knowing that you had such a good relationship with your father. Too many people do not and I'm so glad you did! Another way you let your readers know your good character and loving heart.
