I would not classify Clovis as much of a chewer but he has left his little teethmarks on a few chosen items. For example, the rungs of the antique chair he sleeps under, or the filing cabinet that sits in the corner of his room.
The old mission oak rocker I bought back in the 70's.
This paperback, "Lucifer's Hammer", he selected from the bookshelf upstairs.
I don't mind the chewing unless it is
harmful to him or something that needs to remain toothmark free. I've caught him chewing on cords but I think he does it just to get my attention; he knows it's a no no.
The thing is, when he's gone, I am going to love seeing those little Clovie marks and remember him fondly.

it is time to take out the bitter spray...though ironically, my rabbits like it :P
ReplyDeleteThose pesky cats. It is a real shame that such a beautiful bunn has to contend with them.
ReplyDeleteHe looks completely innocent to me. Its the mouf, the mouf on the Rex is what keeps us slaves to them.

ReplyDeleteCats are weird. A few bunny teeth marks? - Priceless.
ReplyDeleteGotta be the cats. Clovie would never do that. hehe
ReplyDeleteYep, adds character and memories! Mine have pretty much leveled the top bevel of the floor base boards ... so I am just going to sand it all off and make it smooth ... nobody will notice, right???
ReplyDeleteClovie warmed my heart and made my day better as always! Thank you for sharing him!
That picture of him is just too funny! I think the cat did it.
