I feed mine cabbage / Kale most days and it's fine. You shouldn't feed spinach every day though as that can be harmful.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05167739272302561918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-572597855445416860.post-48374759889365274572011-03-21T04:47:20.091-07:002011-03-21T04:47:20.091-07:00Clovie is a well spoiled bun! Which was to tell you what a beautiful, thoughtful thing you did for Bridget at Heart of a Cowgirl, and what an absolutely brilliant job you did capturing Nutmeg and Patches.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15468713627933431744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-572597855445416860.post-43129716269543999682011-03-14T10:50:01.656-07:002011-03-14T10:50:01.656-07:00Wow, what a great regular breakfast, and varied di...Wow, what a great regular breakfast, and varied dinner! We only get salad at dinner, and some pellets in the morning.

I think you are right, that too much citris is bad for a bunny. You may also want to ration the kale, according to the HRS website at Rabbit.org it should only be fed 2-3 times per week because it's high in oxalates, whatever that means. We love it too lol.

We used to live close to a farmer's market, it was fantastic, now that we're in Queens we're forced to go to Key Foods, which doesn't have the best produce section. They don't have bananas, only plaintains, and I'm not sure if those are ok? they don't look as good. So, our diet has become far less varied. We've been really really enjoying a daily piece of apple lately.Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15468713627933431744noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-572597855445416860.post-36859354135745980792011-03-14T06:03:15.179-07:002011-03-14T06:03:15.179-07:00*Hi* not High ...*Hi* not High ...SixBunnieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00265736153133176506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-572597855445416860.post-69824892978976745012011-03-14T06:02:40.720-07:002011-03-14T06:02:40.720-07:00Now I know why Clovis' mouth looks so happy! ...Now I know why Clovis' mouth looks so happy! It's on a very happy, well loved bunny! You are a great Bunny Mom!

I get questions, too, because I used to have to buy veggies for six bunnies. Most of the cashiers at Market Street know the story now, so they just tell me to say high to the bunz for them. With Rosie and Brewster hopping on over to the bridge recently, I have to buy for four bunnies now, which makes the parsley quantities a bit more reasonable. :)SixBunnieshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00265736153133176506noreply@blogger.com
