Push and Pull

Each night when it is time to let Clovie out of his room I move the fencing away so he can go upstairs to play. Lately I've noticed I have a little helper. I pull the fencing out while Clovis insists on (impatiently) pushing.  Am I not fast enough or what?

That's like Mick pulling on his cage door as I am pushing it open--we are never fast enough to suit their needs, especially when it comes to playtime and food.

Reminds me of the great painting, Free at Last" by Byron Fish who was a Seattle columnist years ago ... maybe that was the inspiration for the photo and caption for Clovie?

Well, thanks for introducing me to Byron Fish and his famous painting, RG! I was borrowing the words from Martin Luther King, Jr.
