Committed to finding a friend for Clovis, I introduced him to Sweetie. She is a very soft and sweet lop-eared bunny, a perfect companion.
I was encouraged to see Clovis give Sweetie a lick or two...
Even more encouraged to see that Clovis was willing to share his breakfast with Sweetie...
It all ended badly however, when Sweetie was rejected.

These would make great children's stories. Keep going. They are awesome. Can Clovie wear hats or outfits too?
I'm glad you like but I'm afraid if I go on, my audience will say, "Enough already..."
There is no way Clovie would let me dress him in any type of attire. The only thing I can get away with is to wrap him in a bunny burrito with a towel and even that is an ordeal!
Maybe, just for the sake of comparison, Clovie could have all 3 companions on the stage, as it were, at once. His rejection sure is cute though. Hay, maybe he doesn't want a rabbit companion, maybe some other animal. This could get very complex and expensive procuring all sort of different companions.
I think you might want to try a Faux Friend who is closer to him in size...or even larger! I know several buns who quite like their 'my size' faux friends.
Awwww, poor Sweetie! I have a toy bun that looks similar to her, but mine is one of those ones that have a voice recorder so you can record a message for it to play. I don't think Clovis would like a bun that talks back. ;)
Awww, Clovis has so many little friends and none of them are good enough!!! Maybe someday, Clovie, you may meet a lady who's up to your standards.
