Welcome to the Garden

Clovie (nose bonk at the screen): Hey, there's a bunny out there!

Me: Um, he's not real Clovie.

Clovie:  It says Welcome to the Garden so how about it?

Me: Clovie, I didn't know you could read!

Clovie (scratching at the screen):  C'mon, open up!

Me: Sorry Clove.  I wish I could but it's not Clovie proofed out there.

I use those folding small animal playpens, but bunny sit the whole time because I don't trust the neighbors kids and we have raptors.

We have a lawn service and I know they fertilize but I don't know what they use or when they use it. So I cannot let him out on the grass. There are hawks in our area too. I could set up Clovie's fencing on our deck and let him out there but I don't know how much he would enjoy that. It would also require some cat/rabbit management. They are always separated. I might also have to carry Clovis out there and as you may or may not know, Clovie does not like to be held.

So much easier not to deal with all of it!

I agree. Too many dangers for Clovie. And, he is probably really happy to just sit and look out the door. He is a pretty happy guy!

Now that our dogs go out in the bad yard often, I do not let my bunnies out there anymore ... I would hate to have a little bunny nose run across where a dog poo was ... bleh ... carnivore poo is so "unlike" herbivore poo ...
