I too, fell under the spell of the Moon Rabbit and the happy, dancing bunnies on Qi Papers Moon Rabbit postcards.
Clovis and I both agree, what's not to like?

Bumps
Clovis has little bumps along his spine, from the middle of his back to his tail. They're like little scabs of dandruff. In December he started moulting and I thought somehow that was related. (At first I thought it was mange...)
I had Dr. Heather take a look. She took some scrapings to look at under her microscope checking for parasites but didn't see any. She gave me some gauze soaked in Chlorhexiderm cleansing solution to clean the area. But that doesn't seem to be helping.
When I touch or scratch these bumps Clovis licks the carpet like crazy. He sort of pulls away when I touch the area. It's like it tickles or hurts, I'm not sure which. I've tried unsuccessfully to comb these bumps out. When I pull fur out some of it has dandruff attached to it.
Has anybody out there seen something like this on your little buns?

Bellagio Bunnies
I just love it when my friends see bunny stuff and they think of me. My friend Rachel is in Las Vegas and sent me these photos from the Bellagio Hotel. They have this huge room where they create a themed garden; this one for the Year of the Rabbit.
Wish I could see it for myself!

Open Studio
I signed up for Open Studio. A local artist provides the studio and hires a model. I haven't drawn a live model for over 10 years. I was a little anxious. I pondered what materials I would use. Pencil? Charcoal? Pastels? Which sketchpad? Pastel paper? Would my drawings be any good?
Through the red door and up the stairs, there are 4 or 5 doors on each side of the hallway, a reminder that the building at 217 N. Meridian was a brothel in 1910. The artist's studio was wonderful, just like I would want for myself. A loft with big windows, skylights. She has her own space where she paints, a small kitchen, and an area for the 12 of us and our model.
I nervously put charcoal to paper. My first drawing was small, porportions not quite right. I started again, different paper, conte crayon, and let my right brain take over. The studio is quiet, each of us in the "zone", channeling our creativity. This is what I was looking for, a community of artists to connect with, others who love to draw and paint.

True Grit
We saw True Grit this weekend and really liked it.
Col. G. Stonehill: "Rabbit Cogburn. How did you light on that greasy vagabond?" Mattie Ross: "They say he has grit. I wanted a man with grit."
Col. G. Stonehill: "Well, I suppose he has that. He's a notorious thumper."
