Hey, could you bump it up a notch or two? |
It's a little nippy here in our neck of the woods. Sometimes I catch Clovis sitting next to the heat vent in his room. Took me awhile to figure out but I'm pretty sure he sits there to get toasty.
Smart boy...

I worry so much about keeping my bunnies cool because of all the fur that I haven't paid as much attention to keeping them warm. Like Clovis, I have a bunny who loves to sit in front of the heater! Fuzzy, furry guys get cold too, even when they're inside bunnies!
Mick will either bask in the sunlight coming into his cage or huddle up in his fuzzy throne when things get chilly. I think I might cut up the big flannel sheet that I usually keep in his carrier so he has an extra something to snuggle.
Pssst .. Hey, Clovie Boy ... Go check out Savannah at House of Rabbits. Pretty, huh? Just a hint ... I think the two of you should meet for carrotinis sometime! hee hee!
I'm with 6Bunns... I don't worry much about my bunnies in the cold. In fact, I hesitate to turn on the heat at all because it gets too hot sometime. But then again my buns can easily huddle for warmth if they get chilly.
Smart boy, sitting by the heat vent :) This is one chilly winter we're having.
Savannah is, uh, busy! I'm Not!
Zoey! You little Tart! (Love!)
I wish Clovie could have a little sweetie to cuddle up with....
Clovie looks very happy and very content to me! But, I'm like you. I think every bun needs a hunny bun to groom and snuggle and should love to be picked up and kissed on and snuggled by his or her BunMamma or BunDad.
When you're that close to the floor, I suppose it gets cold fast and especially when you nap on your tummy. Oooo... idea for the new house ... radiant heating in the floor for the bun room. I'll have to be careful with that and think it through though ... wouldn't want any "too toasty" buns!
Radiant heat sounds wonderful! I don't know why but in our house the heat vents are right next to windows where it's cold. Sort of cancel each other out, don't you think?
