Clovis Goes Green

Lipped, that is. The parsley will do it to you every time.

Clovie and I took our monthly drive to the Country Animal Hospital this morning.  The air was crisp, the sun was out, and the trees were gorgeous.  I had a hard time keeping my eyes on the road and the speedometer.  We had a lovely chat with Dr. Heather who told us about sugar shacks and maple syrup, the smells and memories of her childhood in Ohio.

When we got back I brought in our uncarved pumpkins and set them down in Clovie's room thinking I might get some cute pictures.

A lot of thumping and periscoping ensued.  Apparently we do not like pumpkins in our room.

Mick agrees with Clovis--pumpkins are strange things and not to be allowed in bunneh decor. The one time I tried to introduce him to them, he tried to fling them, headbutted them and then ignored them completely.

That's a lovely smile from Clovie!

I suspect a predator might have gotten too close to the pumpkins and Clovie might be smelling a carnivore??? Or, he might just not like pumpkins inide. Hahahah! Those lips are priceless. That bunny is my love!

That is quite alright Clovie. Pumpkins are not popular here either.

It's weird that I've never noticed any green on my bunnies' mouths, considering we eat parsley every night and both have white bottom jaws/chins.

Well, now you know. No pumpkins. Next time Clovie won't be so forgiving. Clean bill of health?

Orange is a very difficult color to decorate with. Green however, works with everything. Love those lips! Reminds me of Sugie's lettuce lips as she would pulverize lettuce. Thanks for the happy memory. :)

Clovie is like the anti-dissaproving rabbit! He is smiling! Don't tell any other rabbits though ... we wouldn't want them to tell him it's not okay to smile! My bunnies get orange in their dewlaps when they eat carrots, but I have not seen green fur. It's lovely on Clovie, absolutely!
